First up you'll need either a soft measuring tape or a ruler and string

Now you have the tools for the job, on to measuring.

  • When measuring for a dog step-in harness, you are looking to measure the Shoulder (A) and Chest (B) where the step-in harness should fit.

  • Below we provide an indication of size by breed, but please do not take it as correct for all breeds. Dogs come in all shapes and sizes, the weight provided is just a guide and to highlight the strength test limits for our harnesses.

  • Two finger rule, it is a good method to leave some space around the chest and shoulder when fitting the harness. This will make sure the harness is comfortable and can be adjusted.

  • If your pet is between sizes, select the next size up.
